This article will compare the 1-Day Acuvue Define series and show you how they all look in my eyes. Acuvue is renowned for its 1-Day coloured contact lenses, which comes in a variety of natural-looking colours. They are suitable for work or play. What I love about the entire 1-Day Acuvue Define series is that they look natural, subtle and beautiful at the same time.
There are nine different types of 1-Day Acuvue Define coloured contact lenses. They are:
• Radiant Bright
• Radiant Charm
• Radiant Sweet
• Radiant Chic
• Accent Style
• Natural Shine
• Vivid Style
• Natural Shimmer
• Natural Sparkle
The last two types- Natural Shimmer and Natural Sparkle – are currently discontinued, so they will not be in stock.
This review below will focus on the seven types that are still available at our store, and I hope you will find it helpful to see what the colours look like in my eyes. All of the contact lenses come in a box of 30 pieces, so you can wear them for around one month if you wear lenses every day to work or school. They have a moisture content of 58%, so they are very comfortable to wear, even for up to 12 hours at a time.
1) 1-Day Acuvue Define Radiant Bright
This beautiful box of lenses is probably the most natural-looking of all the 1-Day Acuvue Define series. I like it because it looks like I’m not wearing any lenses, which means that it is suitable for working women or people who have to go out in a professional place. It isn’t too noticeable and comes in a dark brown colour, which blends well with brown-coloured eyes. It isn’t shiny or shimmering like the other types of lenses, so I think this is the most versatile and flexible type of 1-Day Acuvue Define contact lenses out of the lot.
The lenses are pretty comfortable and look great in the eyes. As you can see, they make my eyes pop out without being too noticeable or bold. It suits people with pale skin and darker hair and accentuates the brownness in your eyes.
2) 1-Day Acuvue Define Radiant Charm
These gorgeous black and brown coloured contact lenses make my eyes pop out. They contain a two-toned colour, which means that you will see some black and brown when you’re wearing them. For me, I love the fact that it creates a very unusual and interesting effect in the eyes, as you can see that there are different shades of colour if you look closely. I recently wore this to a travel trip, making my eyes pop out in a natural, subtle way.
The lenses are great for travelling and vacations. They are slightly more noticeable than the other colours in the Acuvue Define series. I like the lenses’ small graphic diameter, too, as they don’t enlarge your eyes too much.
3) 1-Day Acuvue Define Radiant Sweet
The Acuvue Define Radiant Sweet is a lens that comes in a very girly, feminine brown colour. It is a lighter shade than your usual dark eyes, so it elevates your face by giving your eyes a paler, brighter look. I think this shade of Acuvue Define lenses is my favourite, extremely natural and not obvious. I love natural-looking lenses as they suit any occasion, whether it is work, play or even dating your friends.
I’d say this colour is the most natural shade you can find in the series, and I’d recommend wearing this for work or a casual day out. It makes the eyes glow and shine without being very noticeable, and the brown hues are highly natural.
4) 1-Day Acuvue Define Radiant Chic
With Acuvue Define Radiant Chic is a brighter, bolder coloured lens. It contains a dark brown outer ring and a lighter, shimmering inner ring of colour. These multi-toned lenses result in your eyes looking much more delicate and brighter when you wear the lenses. As you can see in my photo, I wore this lens in the sunlight, and the effect is quite noticeable and prominent. The lenses make my eyes shine brighter, and I love the inner colour of the lenses.
Radiant Chic is probably my favourite colour as it changes your eye colour quite a lot. I love that I can have lighter eyes, and this shade of lenses helps me achieve that goal. You can even see that there are slightly golden and yellow specks under the sunlight, which gives off a mystical and whimsical look!
5) 1-Day Acuvue Define Accent Style
This colour is the darkest of the the1-Day Acuvue Define series. The Accent Style lenses contain a dark grey outer ring and nothing in the middle, making your eyes darker than it usually is. With my dark brown eyes, the effect isn’t too noticeable, but it can make me stand out when I take photos. I love how it darkens and enlarges my eyes, and I would say that the effect of these lenses is more evident than the other colours in this series.
The effects are that my eyes got a noticeable enlargement without looking like a doll or an alien. It’s perfect for photos and looks great in the light too! If you want a more showy effect, then I’d recommend choosing some other colours.
6) 1-Day Acuvue Define Natural Shine
The Acuvue Define Natural Shine is a beautifully coloured lens, as it is incredibly soft and subtle. The soft colours create a beautiful halo effect around your pupils, and it enlarges your eyes most gently. I love how comfortable and beautiful these lenses are, and they are great for work or casual day-outs. These lenses’ effect isn’t too noticeable, so they are suitable for people who want a less pronounced and bold outcome.
7) 1-Day Acuvue Define Vivid Style
There isn’t anything negative I can say about these lenses. Seriously, I’ve been resorting to wearing brown lenses because they look the most natural. And these lenses are not too large and blends in naturally with my eye colour. They’re pretty dark lenses, so there’s no discomfort or enlargement of the eyes, which gives it a very natural and beautiful look. My eyes are a bit shinier after using these lenses too, which is excellent!
All of the 1-Day Acuvue Define lenses contain LACREON, which provides a cushion of moisture and UV-blocking to protect the eye from UV radiation transmission. Acuvue Define protects your eyes when you’re wearing them. I also love how moisturized and comfortable my eyes felt after wearing these lenses, even for 8-10 hours on end. I hope you enjoyed my comparison of the different colours in this series.
